Thoughts for the New Year.
We are finally about to embark on 2021. For so many of us it is a very bitter sweet moment. As we reflect back on the past year I am sure most of us will say that 2020 has been a life changing year for the entire world that will go down in history for generation’s to come.
For that reason so many of us do want to start the new year with good intentions to put the last year behind us and create new goals for ourselves. Some of us want to exercise more, lose weight, eat healthier or maybe even get back to studying/ taking that course you have always wanted to and so many other positive things for ourselves.
But how many of us can actually say that we stick to our New Year’s goals?
We have some quick tips to share with you so that you stay on track in 2021!
1. Think of a specific goal.
There are so many goals that people look to achieve in life. Be very specific in your goals. For example… I wish to lose 30lbs in 2021
Or I wish to look for a new job closer to home
2. Make the goals doable!
The key to making goals for ourselves is to have ones that are realistic and reachable. By
creating goals for ourselves which we can actually attain will allow us to stay on task to
try and achieve them!
3. Create a visual goals board.

Your goals can actually motivate you to stay on task and visually see what you are trying to achieve daily. Keep the vision board in a place that you can see it daily to help you stay focused.
4. Write the goal down that you wish to achieve
Putting pen to paper on your goals and writing out how you are going to achieve this new goal is important too. This actually allows us to be accountable to it too.
5. Celebrate the small goals that you achieve along the way
Give yourself praise on your journey to achieving your goal whenever you see yourself moving closer to achieving it!
6. Share your #goals with others.
Sharing your goals with friends/loved ones is also a great way for allowing others to encourage you and hold you #accountable as you're on your journey.
7. Think about the why?
We know it can be hard to stay motivated and to stay on track. But it is important to remember "the why?" in your goals. Why is this #goal important to you? Why do you want to achieve this?
