My approach is very unique of how I conduct my therapy sessions. I consider myself "The Conversationalist" therapist, because I do therapy like we're having a conversation. I specialize in women issues & help men and women heal from childhood issues.

My Faith is the center of my life, I help my Christian Clients find HEALing through Bibical scripture and incorporate JESUS + THERAPY. 

 

I specialize in addressing unprocessed emotions, childhood issues and patterns of behaviors learned from childhood. I focus on the family unit structure that includes relationship, children and family of origin. I offer pre-marital & marital counseling, and see clients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and much more. In my spare time I love dancing, traveling & spending time with family.​

Counselor Moore has been an Educator for nineteen years. Seven of those years were spent as a classroom teacher and the other 12 years as an Elementary Counselor. She has taught grades Kindergarten, Second, and Third. Shalondra holds a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston-Main Campus and a Masters in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University.

Counselor Moore works well with children, teens and individuals. She is a recipient of Lone Star State School Counselor Association 2022 School Counselor of the Year Finalist Award. She was named to be in the Top 5 Counselors in the State of Texas. Counselor Moore has received numerous for her contributions to the field of Education and Counseling. Some of those awards consist of 2023 Walter Kase Educator Excellence Award, 2020 Difference Maker in Education , 2018 Girl Boss of the Year, featured in Who's Who in Black Houston 6th Ed., and featured in Shoutouthtx Magazine. She believes in self- healing and connecting with all.

In her spare time, she loves to volunteer in the community with her church family. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a Mental Health Change Agent for children. She is a servant leader and believes strongly in Mental Health as well as Social and Emotional Wellness.
